The work you have undertaken in every aspect of Eco development has been outstanding - and you are very well placed to achieve your Green Flag Award very soon in this Session. Well Port Charlotte pupils!! I have just had another good look at your website and am SO excited about my visit to the school next week. There are so many great things and wonderful success stories that I can't wait to catch up on. I loved the pictures of the staff - I recognised every one of them straight away!! Well done on the wonderful article on Burns Day at Port Charlotte. I really enjoyed reading all about your organisation of the day and how much work the pupils put into the day. Thanks too to Mr Trussler who inspired these young people.

The year 5 children of Hardwicke Parochial School were thrilled to receive your scrapbook and information about Islay. So, they've decided to make one of their own to tell you a little about their lives. Your school looks like a really exciting place to be, and the island looks beautiful. With great interest I have read your Newsletter and the Policies of your school. I am very fond of the Princess of all the Hebridean Isles and come to your isle every so often.

My gggrandfather , Archibald McFadyen, was born in 1754 on your beautiful Island and came to the US sometime before 1800. It is great to find your web site and be able to learn more about his Islay. Thanks.
