Interview with Mrs Magor

By Millie and Rebecca

We asked Mrs. Magor some questions about her job, our school and where she lives.

1.Where do you live and what’s it like?

“I live near Oban on a Island called Seal. It’s not got a ferry but its got a big bridge.”

2.What inspired you to do your job?

“Before I did this job I was a head teacher for nine years, then I decided that I wanted to go and see more schools.”

3.How long have you been doing this job?

“I have been doing this job for eight years this coming January”.

 4. How many schools have you been to this year?

“At my job we swap round schools every year so I’ve been to about three but, luckily, I get to keep coming to Port Charlotte Primary.”

5.What do you like about our school and what do you think we have improved?

“I think that your eco schools project is really good and I like that your topics are different from other schools”.

6.What is the difference between our school and other schools where you live?

“Well I like the fact that your school is not too big. I like that you all know each other and work well together, and that your school has a family atmosphere”.

7.What do you think we need to improve next?

“I think you need to keep doing what you’re doing just now! You should continue with your good work with Pre-5 and Primary 1-2. With ‘A Curriculum for Excellence’ coming in, another area all schools will need to develop is from Primary 5 to S3”

Thank you.
